Garth Dennis returned to continue his musical work as an original member of the Wailing Souls, and began working with his new band Garth Dennis & Blaze Mob.
Garth Dennis has worked as a vocalist with the "Wailing Souls" for many years. Garth joined in 1976, replacing Joe Higgs, and left in 1989 to reunite with Black Uhuru. Today Garth Dennis is performing solo with his new band "Blaze Mob", and still performs periodically with the "Wailing Souls". He is also working on reuniting Black Uhuru for a reunion for 2011.
Garth Dennis has worked in the entertainment industry for some 30 years now. He is brother to Joan Dennis, a/k/a, "Joey" of the famed Ska duo "Andy & Joey" which was responsible for the 1960s monster hit “Your Wondering Now." This song recently was covered by the ‘Sex Pistols’ & ‘Amy Winehouse’. Another of her many hits “Don’t Cry Over Me" is featured on the record "Bob Marley & Wailers & Friends". Garth Dennis is also related to Joe Higgs-the "Godfather of Reggae music", and he is the proud father to the band "Blaze Mob”-(Shaka Rock, Gyasi Gong, and King Saeed).
